David Bogle grew up in Texas, enriched by the diverse culture and values of the Lone Star state. His professional journey over three decades stands as a testament to his adaptability, evolving seamlessly from the dynamic and ever-changing retail sector to the intricate world of law. From 1994 to 2015, David played an instrumental role at Target Corporation, initially solidifying its footprint in the Dallas market, and, following his relocation in 2001, advancing its store presence in the Southwest Florida market (Pinellas county and Sarasota County). Leading SuperTarget store operations, David showcased results-oriented leadership, developing and building large teams of over 300 members.
2015 marked a pivotal transition for David as he joined Bogle Law, P.A. full time as their Director of Operations. Channeling his retail insights, David has been a linchpin in fine-tuning the firm's operations and championing public records research initiatives. He has deep insight into Florida's Chapter 119 Sunshine law, which stands at the forefront of government transparency and open records. The Florida Legislature made access to government records a State Constitutional right in 1992.
Outside of his professional commitments, David's tangible contributions to the community shine through. Driven by a genuine intent to serve, he often takes the initiative, expertly maneuvering an old diesel 1973 Champion Road grader, weighing 30,000 pounds to maintain the mile long shell roads in his neighborhood, a gesture reflecting his dedication to the community's well-being.
David's enthusiasm for legal research, especially topics centered around the US Constitution, is harmonized by his association with the Florida First Amendment Foundation in Tallahassee. This collaboration resonates with his unwavering commitment to transparency, upholding constitutional tenets, and cultivating strong community relationships.
Away from his work's demands, David's Texas lineage resonates vibrantly. He retains a fondness for a traditional BBQ sandwich, best savored with a cool beverage.
