Andres "AJ" Fernandez is a proud native of Florida’s west coast, with a strong connection to the community he serves. Growing up here, AJ has always been in tune with the needs and challenges of local families, which has shaped his approach to the law. His passion for helping others stems from his own experiences, where he saw how tough it can be for people to get the legal help they need when it matters most. This sparked his drive to pursue a career in law, and he became the first person in his family to graduate from college—a milestone that highlights his hard work and determination.

Professional Experience:
The Dorcey Law Firm, Fort Myers, FL APP Trust Funding Coordinator AJ worked closely with other attorneys, helping with everything from document preparation to finalizing legal filings. He’s meticulous when it comes to organizing and managing confidential client information, making sure everything is secure and in order. He’s also responsible for ensuring that paperwork gets to the right places on time and according to legal standards.
Juvenile Assessment Center, Fort Myers, FL Intern During his time at the Juvenile Assessment Center, AJ assisted with juvenile interviews and worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice during court proceedings. He also helped create diversion plans by writing referrals for state attorneys and kept the center’s database up to date.
